Inspired By: The Colours of Palm Springs

California is one of my favourite places to visit. It’s diverse with desert and beaches, sophistication and quirky cool, vintage vibes and ultra chic.

Palm Springs is always a highlight for me. It has a feel like no other city. Full of history, mystery and an aesthetic unwavering from it’s roots of mid-century modern design. This charming city is ripe with flavour, colour and a sense of pride.

With a fresh and modern vibe there is no shortage of colour in this town. Rust, golden yellow, green and blue, Palm Springs takes colour to the next level, being used in unexpected ways, or purely embracing part of the landscape in the most subtle way. I compiled a grouping of photos I took during a recent trip to share the inspiration behind this amazing place. Enjoy!

There’s something to be said for travel. Not only does it offer us a change of pace, scenery and time away from our day to day lives, it allows us to relish in the new perspective that comes from seeing new places and experiencing new things. Whether a stay-cation or venturing to a far away land, I hope you embrace all the colours and visual interests of the places you visit.
