West Vancouver Reveal Part 1: Living Room

We entered the Vancouver design scene in 2013 with our downtown condo project and have been loving working in surrounding areas ever since. Our next project was across the Lion's Gate Bridge and into West Vancouver where the windy streets and homes tucked behind lush trees and foliage had me smitten the first time I ventured over.

This home was designed and built with beautiful bones. There were small tweaks to make from a renovation perspective however, mostly a house full of furniture to select and facilitate.

Our approach to the home was to marry soft colours, textures and function for family living. We loved embracing this light and airy, West Coast vibe!

Our client trusted us with an unconventional approach to the living room furniture layout, floating two sectionals in the room facing towards each other, anchored with a massive sisal area carpet and oversized slate coffee table.

The back of the house is a large open space housing the kitchen, living room and casual eating area, all with the picture perfect view of the (almost) 365 days of green in the backyard.
