Studio Stories: July 2014
We’re starting a new series on the blog about what’s happening in and out of the office, projects we’re working on and fun things we’re up to. We hope you enjoy seeing a little more into the inner workings of our studio.
Summer has been good to us so far. Hot days, little rain and fabulous projects. Here’s a small sample of what’s been happening this month.
Jamie has been working on drawings for the two kitchen renovations we have on the go, one in full swing demolition and the other at the early stages of material selection • Iced macchiato is my new favourite beverage • Pretty flowers from Jamie’s mom’s garden • Our Canmore project is in the styling stage and we visited the site last week to create our list of finishing touches. I love the textural contrast of the horizontal bead board, bed and bedding • A bathroom renovation is at plumbing stage • We’re expanding our office and Jackie has been working on the layout and furniture requirements for the space. Here’s Jamie capturing the meeting in a mischievous way • We’ve also got a backyard renovation on the go!
Seeing these projects unfold and move towards completion has me very excited. I’m always amazed at the diversity of our days and it’s one of the things I love…there are never two days the same. Stay tuned for our August update!
