Projects: Custom Closet Refresh

One of the easiest ways to transform a room is to paint it, however this is not always the way I tend to think. I am a fan of light walls. White, off-white, pale grey are all shades I gravitate towards leaving the high impact elements elsewhere in a space.

This particular clients home is always evolving so when she came to me with the suggestion of painting the ceiling in her closet I was on board as it would be an unexpected detail in the room. Of course the colour she had in mind was pink!

We chose Benjamin Moore Springtime Bloom 2079-40, a vivacious and energetic shade of pink that was sure to put a smile on your face even in the dreariest of days.

The outcome is fabulous. An easy and inexpensive way to add valuable interest. The colour was the biggest risk and well worth it.

Tying into the antique French harp chair and the pink velvet seat as well as the Madeline Weinribrunner, this closets feminine factor has been taken to new heights.
